Lovers become separated by life’s circumstances: the beautiful sea creature cannot escape her fish bowl abode and is unavailable to the powerful goat-man who cannot show his weakness to the outer world; yet through the barrier of the bowl he courts the mermaid with a bouquet of flowers. The sea and star-crossed figures are eternally locked in a situation they cannot control. A romance, separated for eternity but just a breath away.
