In their exotic bestial diversity, the tree-lady and deer-man run in tandem to catch the subway – nothing that would turn a head in New York City! The anthropomorphic narrative integrates personal character references and the desire to celebrate the profound diversity of NYC. The deer-man, a recurring character in my narratives, has matured in this latest rendition to an elegant partner matched by the autobiographical tree-lady.
